Rufus Software is a great solution to install an operating system on a computer using a USB storage drive. How to use Rufus Software to make Bootable USB
Basic requirements
An empty USB drive over 4GB storing space
Windows or Linux running PC or Laptop
And download the newest editions of Rufus Software
These are basic requirements that need to collect before start the bootable process. Now let’s move on to the bootable process by using the following steps.
Access to the Rufus Download website and download the newest edition of Rufus Software application.
After it completes the download, connect the USB storage drive an open the downloaded Rufus Software file.
Then the Rufus menu will pop up on your screen and now you need to select the USB drive that you want to create bootable USB.
After that click select button in next line to add the ISO Image file which belongs to your operating system.
Afterwards, you can select the necessary file settings and click the start button.
Now a message will show up on the display for asking permission to format your USB device. This is an important step in the bootable process. Because you must accept this if you want to continue the process on Rufus Software. So just go ahead and click the OK button.
Then you can see the bootable process has been started and a green line starts to fill to indicate it. Generally, this may take up to a couple of minutes to finish.
When it finish the converting process you can see the green has filled and Ready on the line.
So now you can easily install your Operating System without any problem.
